The restaurants that signs up to the P.O.S Plus product will have access to a site from where they can among other functions set up menu items, the codes and prices.
The restaurants’ manger or any other authorised personnel will have a username and password for accessing the site. This will be provided by EzeeMoney.
Step 1 - The authorised staff with access the following site: - http://ke.ezeemoney-co.com/SC
Step 2 - Password Maintenance
This feature allows one to update or change their log in credentials.
- On selecting “Password Maintenance”, the page will load as shown below.
- Enter the current PIN no. i.e. current password
- Enter the New PIN No.
- Confirm the new password by entering it a second time in the field provided.
- Select “save” to finalise the password change.
Batch upload – not applicable for Restaurants.
Transaction details – not applicable for Restaurants.
Step 3 - Service Centre Maintenance
This tab has two options:
- Service Centre Information
- Business Information
Step 3.1 - Service centre information
This page displays basic information about the Restaurant. The following information can be viewed from this page:
- SC code – this refers to a unique 8 digit code assigned to the restaurant. The unique code is used o identify the restaurant in the EzeeMoney platform.
- MMP ID – reference ID for EM internal use.
- SC Name – simply the name of the restaurant as was entered when the restaurants’ profile was being created into the EzeeMoney platform.
- Recruiter Name – The name of the recruiting agency, could be a master agent or sub-agent.
- Recruiter Phone – this is a mobile number of the key or contact person of the recruiting agent (master or sub-agent)
- Contact person – this is the name of the restaurant owner or the key person in the restaurants hierarchy e.g. restaurant manager.
- Notification Number - EzeeMoney notifications will be sent to this number via SMS e.g. when the contact persons’ profile is created into the EzeeMoney platform, a TAC (Transaction Authorisation Code) will be sent to the notification number. The TAC is required when the contact person attempts to log into the restaurant’s administration website.
- Suspend Account – this option is used to either suspend or activate the restaurants P.O.S Plus account. A suspended account means that no transactions will take place either via the administration website or via the terminal assigned to the restaurant.
- Created Date & time – this simply indicates the date and time the restaurants account or profile was created into the terminals EzeeMoney platform
Step 3.2 - Business Information
This option loads a read-only view of information relating to the restaurant as entered into the platform when the restaurants profile was being created in the platform. Information viewed on this information will be among others: -SC Code and name, postal, address & location details.
Step 4 - Terminal Maintenance
This page allows SC to put name to their terminal for easy identification and reference. For example, if you use 2 terminals for your restaurant, you can put terminal name as Terminal 1 for Kitchen and Terminal 2 for Counter. Click on Save button after editing.
- Terminal ID - Each terminal has a unique code.
- Terminal Name – Each terminal is assigned a unique name during creation of the restaurants profile into the platform. This field is editable to name your terminal to your need.
- Terminal description – the description is option, and is used to give more details that differentiate it from other terminals in the restaurant.
- SC Code – the code assigned to the restaurant, to which the terminal is attached. Each SC code is unique.
- Terminal limit – Not applicable for restaurants.
- Point multiplier – Not applicable for restaurants.
- Required reprint password - Not applicable for restaurants.
By clicking, or selecting the terminal id on this page, a new page will load that will display more options as shown below.
