Float Top Up via MPESA Bill Payment

The float top up is used for the following purposes:
  1. Rental payment (for Restaurant & Cafe system, Distribution system)
  2. To add credit to your SC's account to sell services such as prepaid reload.
In summary, you need to perform 3 steps:
A.  Step 1 - to deposit to Ezeemoney account (837250) using MPESA Bill Payment facility
B.  Step 2 - to inform Ezeemoney using the terminal function F9
C.  Step 3 -  do Check Balance at F10 after 20 minutes to confirm the amount has been topped up.

IMPORTANT: If both 2 steps are not completed, your float will not be topped up. Please ensure to perform both steps.

A. Using MPESA Bill Payment facility
  1. Login to your MPESA Account.
  2. Select Lipa na M-PESA
  3. Select Pay Bill 
  4. Then enter business no. as 837250 (this is Ezeemoney account number)
  5. Then enter account no. (Please enter your SC code. For agent, enter your hp number) 
  6. Enter amount 
  7. Enter M-PESA PIN 
  8. Then confirm the transaction and send 
  9. You will receive confirmation SMS from M-PESA indicating that you have sent money to EZEEMONEY 


For simplicity and cost effective charges, the preferred amounts for SC top up would be as follows:
  • Paying KES 950 will cost the merchant KES22 
  • Paying KES 2450 will cost the merchant KES33 
  • Paying KES 4950 will cost the merchant KES55 
  • Paying KES 9950 will cost the merchant KES83 
  • Paying KES 34950 will cost the merchant KES110

 B. Next, perform Top Up Request via Terminal (F9)
  1. Once the deposit via MPESA has been made, go to the terminal to update EM.
  2. Select F9 for SC Float Top Up
  3. Select L2 - MPESA
  4. Enter amount deposited
  5. In the reference field, enter Your SC Code
  6. Enter Month and date of deposit
  7. The float top up will be completed within 20 minutes.
  8. Please do Check Balance at F10 after 20 minutes to confirm the amount has been topped up.
