- You only require to use 1 terminal or
- You have many terminals but all using the same menu or pricelist
Below is the step by step process that you need to perform for quick setup:
Step 1 - If this is your first time, we recommend that you perform terminal update. Refer to this link page on how to do terminal update.
Step 2 - Create profile and terminal assignment. A profile is used to identify a set of items this terminal will be used for. For quick setup, you will be using Default Profile.
- Press F2, then
- Press Enter to go to the terminal's next screen
- Select L2 - First Time Reg., then
- Press L1 - Select Profile, then
- The terminal will show Default, press L1
- Then, Assign name to the terminal. Once done, press Enter
- System then successfully assign the terminal to the Default profile.
Step 3 - Create authorizer (Master) and waiter staff cards. You need to do 2 tasks:
- To format the card first
- To add staff (assigning the staff card)
- Press F2, then
- Press Enter to go to the terminal's next screen
- Select L1 - Card Admin
- Choose L4 - Format /w Pin to format the card
- Once done, go to Card Admin, press Enter to the terminal's next screen
- Add staff card - L1. This is to create or add waiter staff details and card assignment
- Add master card - L3. This is to create or add Master (authorizer) details and card assignment
Step 4 - To create or add items sold into the menu or pricelist
- Press F2, then
- Select Files Update - L3
- Then, select L3 - Pricelists
- Follow the on screen instructions to add the items. You can refer at this page for details steps.
Once Step 1 to 4 completed, your terminal is now ready to be used.
Note: If you have 2 or more terminals but all of them will use the same menu or pricelist, you just repeat Step 1 to 2 for the other terminals.
